Our providers at Gastroenterology Consultants of Laredo specialize in the diagnosis and management of adult gastrointestinal disorders, nutritional disorders, liver and gallbladder disorders, and pancreatic disorders. We are proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy and in colorectal cancer screening.
Some of the more common conditions treated by our providers are abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, H. pylori infection, gastritis, swallowing problems, chronic liver disease and cirrhosis, gallstone related disease, pancreas disorders, iron deficiency and other nutritional anemias, inflammatory bowel disease such as Chron’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, polyp disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anal fissures, hemorrhoids and more.
Our providers use several in-office diagnostic and therapeutic modalities to provide comprehensive GI care. These include Fibroscan, hemorrhoid band ligation, small bowel video capsule endoscopy, SmartPill GI motility studies, and H. pylori breath testing.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. In addition to having regular office hours, our physicians are credentialed at Laredo Medical Center, Doctors Hospital of Laredo and Laredo Digestive Health Center. We have excellent relationships with primary care physicians and other specialists. We always welcome a referral from your physician.
