Mr. Michael Tijerina is a nurse practitioner at Gastroenterology Consultants of Laredo. Mr. Tijerina is a Laredo native and a graduate of Texas A&M International University.

Prior to being a nurse practitioner, Mr. Tijerina worked as a nurse in a GI Endoscopy lab and was exposed to a variety of diseases and disorders. He has been a nurse practitioner for 5 years and has been a member of Gastroenterology Consultants of Laredo all that time. His patients know him for his attention to detail, compassionate care, and broad knowledge base of gastrointestinal disorders.

When not working, Mr. Tijerina enjoys watching Dallas Cowboys football and spending time with his wife and son.
